December 19, 2024 · 2 min read

Marine Weather Intelligence has been named among the 40 most promising startups in the Blue Tech Index, recognised in the Transport & Decarbonisation category.

On 17 December, Marine Weather Intelligence joined an event at the MEDEF headquarters in Paris for the launch of the second edition of the Blue Tech Index, a programme spotlighting the 40 most promising startups in the maritime sector. We were selected alongside five other French startups.

About the Blue Tech Index

Created in 2023, the Blue Tech Index aims to increase the visibility of maritime innovators and strengthen their access to financing. The programme is supported by Indosuez Wealth Management, NextInnov Banque Populaire – Crédit Maritime, MEDEF, and Ouest France – Le Marin.

This edition highlighted 40 startups across eight categories. Marine Weather Intelligence was recognised in the Transport & Decarbonisation category, reflecting our commitment to accelerating the energy transition in the maritime industry through AI-powered routing and weather intelligence.

A shared vision for maritime innovation

Being part of this index connects us with a growing network of innovators working on the most pressing challenges in maritime: decarbonisation, operational efficiency, and safety at sea.

We see these collaborations as essential to driving meaningful change across the industry, and we look forward to contributing to that collective effort.
