Our contribution in numbers
Over the course of 117 days of continuous availability, the Marine Weather Intelligence team delivered:
- More than 50,000 routings completed via the MWI Races App and Geovoile RMS
- Daily briefings with course management teams
- Round-the-clock meteorological support for skippers navigating the Southern Ocean, Cape Horn, and beyond
The essence of the Vendée Globe
Thirty-five sailors completed the circumnavigation, each one demonstrating an unshakeable spirit in the face of extreme conditions. Witnessing their determination, their ability to make sound decisions under pressure, in isolation, with nothing but the sea and the sky, is a constant reminder of why precise weather intelligence matters.
We are proud to have contributed to their safety and performance. The Vendée Globe is more than a race. It is a testament to what human beings can achieve when preparation, expertise, and courage converge.
